Accessible 3D Garden Room and Landscaping Transformation in Troon
This project at Fullarton Crescent in Troon brought together a bespoke 3D garden room and a complete landscaping transformation to create an outdoor space that is both beautiful and practical. Designed around the client's lifestyle and accessibility requirements, every aspect of the project was carefully considered to ensure the garden could be enjoyed comfortably throughout the year while maintaining a contemporary, high-end finish.
The brief
What the client wanted
The client wanted to transform their existing garden into a modern outdoor living space centred around a bespoke 3D garden room. The new layout needed to feel like a natural extension of the home while providing dedicated areas for relaxing, entertaining and spending time outdoors.
A key part of the brief was ensuring the entire garden was fully wheelchair accessible. The design needed to allow smooth movement from the house to the garden room and throughout the landscaped garden without steps or awkward level changes. At the same time, the finished result needed to deliver the premium appearance and craftsmanship expected from a complete Designer Garden Rooms project.
Our solution
How we built it
Working closely with the client, we designed and installed a bespoke 3D garden room alongside a fully integrated landscaping scheme that delivers both accessibility and visual impact.
The contemporary garden room features durable external cladding, slimline glazing and full-width aluminium bifold doors, creating a bright, open space that connects effortlessly with the surrounding garden. Internally, the room has been finished with a comfortable lounge area, dining space and bespoke kitchenette, allowing it to be used throughout every season.
The landscaping was designed around accessibility without compromising on style. Smooth resin bound surfaces and carefully planned level transitions allow wheelchair users to navigate comfortably around the entire garden, creating seamless access between the house, outdoor seating areas and the garden room.
A striking circular lawn provides a focal point within the design, while the sweeping resin pathways create movement throughout the garden and naturally guide visitors between each outdoor space. The raised circular patio offers an inviting area for outdoor dining, complemented by carefully selected planting that softens the hard landscaping and introduces colour, texture and year-round interest.
By combining thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship and premium materials, this project has transformed the garden into a stylish, functional outdoor living space that can be enjoyed by everyone. The finished result demonstrates how accessibility and contemporary landscape design can work together to create a garden that is practical, welcoming and built to last.
